I have a panasonic in dash dvd player cy vmd9000u and i had it in my civic. Now im putting it in my 2002 chevy silverado. I had everything connected and when i went to turn it on, the light where the disc goes turned on and the screen flipped out but no picture came on and no sound came out of the speakers. Please tell me what i did wrong!!!!!!

double check your wiring between the player and the wiring harness)es) you used in the truck. check connections. Then press that little tiny reset button on the player to clear it's firmware memory and reset it.
then see what happens.

is your safety sw wire grounded to your parking brake? and your parking brake engaged.
