Ok, I'd like to installq a mobile video system into my Cherokee, and of course, I'm trying to keep costs down. Basically, I want 2 small screens for the back of the headrests, and maybe one small one for either the dashboard or the passenger sunvisor. I have a few questions:
1. If I bought one of the mobile DVD players, will I simply be able to split the video signal to go to the 3 screens using RCA Y-adapters etc., or will I need some sort of video distribution amp?
2. How hard is the install for the headrest screens? Do i simply cut out the location and run wire down through my seat? Here are some screens I was thinking about:

3. As far as power is concerned, I'm assuming there will only be a power and ground connection based on previous posts, and no remote lead or switched power. So I can run this straight to the battery via a switch?
Hey awd_sr,
Yes you'll need a video switcher. There are several on the market each one with features we like. Take a look at https://www.directed.com/video/default.asp to get a complete picture (pardon the pun).

thanks BigDog, I'll check that out. Have you ever did one of the headrest installs? How tuff is that?
(pardon the font size, the Mrs screwed it up and I have no idea how to go back :( )
