How do I hook up the headrest monitors to the Kenwood KVT-815?

You can probably just use a Y-cable on the video out. If the signal is too weak you will need a video amp, 1in and 4 out.

Ok, now that I've read your first post, maybe you should just tell me exactly how you have them hooked up. I haven't worked with this particular unit but it should be pretty straightforward. Video out from the head unit split into video in on each monitor. You said they would power up so I'll assume (uh-oh) that part is OK.
