Where is the best location? We would like to avoid using 3m tape on paint if possible. Tried putting it on the dash but signal is in and out. Thanks, Nick.

did you place it on the dash on a metal plate? or just the antenna by itself.

Just on the dash, no metal. I asked sirius tech support and they said that wouldn't make a difference. I have heard of that though. I will give it a shot. Thanks, Nick.
