i thinking about hooking up 2 headrest screens to a ps2 and i was wondering what would be a good fm transmitter to get the audio into my car speakers

For the most part, fm transmitters suck. The best option is an auxilary input adapter. If you must use fm then get a broadcasting type that doesn't have to plug into the car's antenna.

I have the Belkin Tunecast 2 and it works great for connecting my Ipod to my car stereo.  I picked one up off of EBAY for $25.
