I hooked up a new (right out of the box) Pioneer back up camera, but I have no image.

It's grounded properly, the power is from the same place as my Sat radio (which works fine), the RCA is hooked into the cam's power box at one end and the AVH7500's hideaway unit on the other, the cam is plugged into the power box in the right place, the fuse is fine, and the 7500's back up lead is plugged in to the right wire because when I put it in reverse the screen switches to black.

I did turn "on" the back up camera in the 7500's set up, and selected the negative polarity.  Still, when i put it in reverse I get a black screen... no image from the camera.

Anyone have any idea if I've missed something? Any idea's of what to check or try next?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check to see if ther 7500 is putting a signal out to the camera to turn it on. If there is a signal, check to see if the camera sends an image out by attaching the RCA out to another monitor of some sort (such as a home TV).

If nothing still, just get a new camera and return the old.
