direct techs say that it is a PURPLE / red at the ECU behind glove box pin8 or a 4 pin plug on the back of fuse box pin1. but Avic-Z1 does not recognize it as a true speed sense. question on the Avic-Z1 when you hook up the speed sense wire does it make an audio pulsing sound? or is it the gps antenna that makes the audio pulsing sound.

Don't know if it helps but the sound won't pulse at low speeds.

how low a speed 20 to 40 cause we got up to maybe 40, and no audio pulse. havent checked if i even get the 3d mapping it is my friends unit so don't get alot of time to play with it.

Did you test the wire that you tagged? It should go from neutral to ground. It should have pulsed above around 10mph.

yes tested wire with multimeter but many times have i tested speed pulse wires that direct techs say is the right wire and looks good but is not true vss wire just tests the same.
