I've got a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 in my '07 4Runner. Today I installed the Pioneer iPod adapter. Now, the unit plays fine in AM, FM, and iPod modes, but the CD and Library modes are extremely staticky and the beeps (when touching the screen) are barely audible. The beeps are barely audible in all modes now, actually. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem here? I checked all connections and couldn't find any loose ones.

when you unplug the ipod module does everything go back to normal?
