Bought a JVC KD-NS5000 to install in my 2003 Passat, the instructions indicate to connect a wire to the car's speed signal sensor wire. Can't find such wire.
Place where I bought it, told me that the navigation will work without it, but it didn't.
I was told to buy a Speed pulse generator($200.00), but I would like to see if I can find the wire first.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

speed pulse is WHITE/ blue pin15 on 23 pin plug at comfort module located under the carpet in front of the driver seat... in a protective box.

it can also be found as BROWN / red in the harness coming from the gauges.
