Spaceboy and I go way back, long before we each
got married with children. Many of you who may know Spaceboy probably didn't
know that he was once chosen to pilot the space shuttle Columbia. That's
right. Unfortunately he was unable to do so because of a rare condition
know as "Nospearience". This dreadful and sometimes unemployable disease
leaves one stuck at home all day wondering how next month's mortgage payment
will be made. But Spaceboy did not give up! To this day, he continues to
rake in the duckies to support his family. Now his chances of ever flying
the space shuttle may be long gone, and his friends may be none the
wiser, but Spaceboy will always soar high in my book. Here's to you
Spaceboy!
"What could have been"
Since the space shuttle incident, Spaceboy has taken to the
slopes and will now be known as Ski Dude. This is where he gets a chance
to take his mind off of earning those duckies I mentioned. He is currently
training for the downhill and slalom events in the upcoming 2000 Olympics.
Whether or not he makes it still depends on his reoccurring condition.
