  • Illuminated Entry for Vehicles with Positive Door Triggers
When you unlock or disarm your vehicle with an alarm or keyless and have an output (usually 30 - 60 seconds long), and have positive door triggers, the output is connected to a relay as shown. For negative door triggers see next.

Illuminated Entry for Vehicles with Negative Door Triggers
When you unlock or disarm your vehicle with an alarm or keyless and have an output (usually 30 - 60 seconds long), and have negative door triggers, the output is connected to a relay as shown. For positive door triggers see above.

    Basic Light Flash
If the alarm or keyless entry you are installing has a light flash output other than one (with an on board relay) that is connected directly to the parking lamps. The connections are shown below. If you need to connect to a left and right parking lamp circuit, see next. If your alarm has no light flash output, click here.

    Two Wire Light Flash
Most commonly found on German automobiles, separate left and right parking lamp circuits will require at least one more relay. If your alarm or keyless entry's negative output can not energize the coils of more than one relay simultaneously, the connections are as shown. If it can energize the coils of two relays or you have an on board relay, eliminate the relay on the left and connect the alarm's (-) output to terminal #86 on the center relay and to terminal #85 on the right. If your alarm has no light flash output, click here.

Adding Light Flash with Siren Output
If your alarm has a positive siren output, but no light flash output, the connections are as shown. If you need more info on light flash start here.
