Well i hooked up the relay.  when i connect a 12V source to the 87a nothing happens but if i connect the 12V source to 85 the turn signal light turns on and the relay clicks...and if i touch the 30 the white light turns on.  Isnt the white light supposed to be on when i have a 12V source to the 87? and then turn off while the signal light turns on?  I appreciate the help.

are there 4 wires like in my diagram, you have a - and + for a steady light and a blinking light?

need to bond something to bumper - Page 3 -- posted image.

I have it like in the diagram...the 12V source for the white light is connected to the 87a terminal and the + wire of the light is connected to the 30 terminal.  do i have to connect the power source to the + wire?

this is what i did and what it looks like to me in the diagram.

+ wire of marker is connected to the 30 terminal...the - is grounded to the chassis.   the + turn signal wire is connected to the origional + wire and both are connected to the 85 terminal.  the - of the turn signal is connected to the origional - wire and both are connected to the 86 terminal.   The 12V source for the marker is connected to the 87 terminal.

i didnt have the keys on me so i didnt get to test if the turn lights worked properly or not, but i figgured if i have the marker grounded to the chasis and the + wire directly from the battery to the 87 terminal that the marker would turn on.  If i connect the 12V wire from the battery to the + wire on the marker it does turn on, so its grounded properly.

do you have it on 87 or 87a? try switching that terminal, try the turn signal, if they both come on when the turn goes on then that's all you need to switch, this still might make it blink fast, i'm not sure exactly how it's set up

it only has an 87, not an 87 AND an 87a.  They both turn on at the same time...I tried a combo of different ways and ended up frying a relay (it was kinda neat cause it made a really high buzz noise and then quit)  Do u mean to switch the 87 with the 30?  for now i took out the relay and just hooked it up with the constant white light and the signal light, but i need to change the bulbs cause the white light is too bright for the orange turn light..so i might get blue for the main light and a yellow LED for the turn light.

yea, like 99 % of all relays have the 87 and 87a, but some don't, i got ****ed with that once, i sent someone to an autozone to get a relay for me and they got one that didn't have the 87a, haha, ohh well, anyways, yea, if you can't find any you can get them off the net easy, you will need one for each side (i assume you know that already, but i'm just sayin it anyways)
