In my experience, I have only found Christian dorks to consider the first to be "politically incorrect" or somehow offensive.

Some years ago Australia made it an offense to take unsolicited offence on someone elses or other groups behalf.
That has prevented a lot of recurring offensive terms like sight- & height-challenged etc, not to mention crap about some group being offended by another group's traditions, or the color red.

IME, only small minded people transfer their own logic to others.
