I bought an aftermarket heated seat kit for my car which didn't come with heated seats. I was able to locate a junkyard with a model that had the OEM switches, so I picked those up. I wanted to know if there was a way to wire up the after market heating elements to work with my OEM switch. The company that sells the kit wouldn't help because it voids the warranty which I'm not concerned about.

The aftermarket switch that came with the heating elements has 3 settings: Lo - Off - Hi
The OEM Acura switch has 2 settings: On - Off

Do you think it's as easy as connecting the corresponding colors? Red to red, black to black etc...? The OEM Acura switch has more wires even though it has less settings. I drew up a diagram to help show the wiring.

Hopefully it will allow me to post the photo even though I'm a noob. If it doesn't, I'll try to provide a link. Thanks for any help you can provide. The vehicle is a '97 Acura 2.2CL
