        WHEN FIGURING BOX VOLUME, WOULD I INCLUDE THE PORT IF IT IS OUTSIDE BOX?

add the box volume to the port volume . that will give you the total volume that your box should be. remember all your measurements have to be in the same type, ie inches , ft ,etc.the port volume is extra on top of the box volume.

one last thing, the measurements that you get from any box programs or specs are inside volume. take into account that the thickness of the box will give you a different measurement.

Go to Radio Shack and look for a book called Advance Speaker Systems. It will tell you everything you want to know about building boxes, speaker reaction and passive crossovers. Later
