I'm fiberglassing the rear deck of my car and am planning to paint it. What grit should I go up to?

50 - 80 grit then poly prime.
sand the poly primer to 320 or 400 then surcace prime it.
then sand the surface coat to from 400 to 800 grit.
base then clear.

the poly primer is a high build polyester primer. the surface primer is the last thin layer of primer that is applied and sanded before the color is applied
both can be purchased at any bodyshop supplier.
