i built this console last summer. since i drive a standard cab fullsize chevy im tight on space and had to have my music. since i was running a roxbox made for my truck i didnt have any place to mount amps etc....
the console holds 2 kicker ss crossovers, 5 farad digital cap, power distribution block,  2 bass control knobs, 1 kicker 600.1 mono amp and 1 kicker 650.4. the power wire is 0g that drops down to 4g. im getting ready to build another console for my 93 toyota standard cab to hold my switches and air gauges. ill post pics of that when i start.

looks sweet!!!  I have a similar truck, but extended cab-i thought of that same idea, but about two months AFTER i had already built the box and installed everything.  mabe next year i'll redo it.  I thought it would look sick to have huge amps sitting where the console is.  it definitely looks good in your ride.
