I am installing a Parrot CK3100 in a 2002 Nissan pathfinder w/bose system.

I am trying to find the best way to mute the stereo and have the sound come through the front speakers.

The best way I can find to mute the stereo is to install a relay to invert the (-) signal from the mute harness to a (+) 12 volt signal and have that put the radio into Aux mode via the 8pin din plug on the back of the stereo.  Then use the Audio (+) (-) inputs to feed the audio through the stereo.

Does anyone have any diffrent ideas???

that sounds like it would work, but I hate cutting into din cables. I'd find the factory amp split the speaker outputs.
