Just bought used '07 Altima and previous owner has fogs installed, and wiring has been added, but ain't  finished.  There is a power lead going from battery to fusible link to relay.  (I think it's some type of relay --says SchulZ on top)  The 2 open  ends are wire nutted (one is a large gauge wire, the other is small ga.).  The wires coming off the relay? are spliced into the headlight or parklight wire.  Anyway, I turned on lights last nite and touched the large wire to frame and fogs came on, so I assume thats the ground?  If all I need to do is find a ground on the chassis, I'll do that but what about the small wire??  I want to avoid a situation that drains the battery.  Thanks for any input

this is how it should be wired. using the headlight, that will trigger the relay which will turn on the power for fogs

85- negative trigger from headlight.
86- constant 12v (+)
87- constant 12v fused (+)
30 - to postive (red) wire on fog lights

those numbers are written on the bottom of the relay.
