Battery through a 15 amp fuse to terminals 86 and 30.  85 connects to the negative wire that you say is switched.  87 to the positive input of your balast.

thanks for this quick reply.
will try this later after work, so this will control the negatively switched?
additional question sir,
im planning also to connect two relays on the chain for my H4 socket headlight, one for the Low Beam and one for the High Beam. the relay kits that we have here is for the usual positively switched vehicles. initially when i tried to use one of those kits, the Low beam doesnt turn off even when i flick to High Beam. can i use the relay diagram of yours to control the low beam? so instead of connecting the 87 pin in your diagram to the ballast, i would connect it the 86 pin of the Low beam relay in the kit which was supposed to be connected to the stock low beam wire coming from the headlight switch?
sorry for the newbie questions, im just starting to learn how to use relays and this website helped me alot. thanks

Yes mr idiot's relay setup will control negatively switched!

To use positive switched just connect 85 to ground and connect 86 to the positive switched feed, the rest of the wiring remains as was posted!
