Hi i have a set of bi-xenon H4 6K hid lights. I have a problem that only one light will turn on. The weird thing is though sometimes its the driver side that doesn't turn on and some times its the passenger side that doesn't turn on.Once and a while they'll both turn on but that's rare. its as if it only has enough power to turn on one. but my battery is new though. What do you think it could it be?

Do you have a volt meter? If so you could check the supply voltage and see if the one that doesnt light up is actually getting any voltage to the pack at the time.

And the one that does light up, check the voltage there too while it's on.

It could be that which ever lights up grabs enough voltage and current that it cuases a sudden drop and the other one blinks out.

Does this happen when the car is running?

Should one of the grounds be going to the battery? i thought that that could be the problem but im not sure.
Yea it does it while its running too. If one doesnt light it makes a noise from the ballast. its like zzzt zzzt zzzt. lol

Meter your ground from the battery to the point of ground on the HID kit. You want to be a close to 0 as possible.

OP, where exactly is the wiring for these grounded?

Do you have inline fuses? If so, do the ends of the fuse appear to have any marks or discoloration?

Are there any crimp type connections used in the wiring?

Where are you getting your 12v from?

Can you post pics of this and put them on imageshack?
