I got a set of HID off Ebay the other day xenon brand. I went to install last night and am stumped......

1st this is a low beam only kit, hen I went to hook the wires up to the factory wiring harness I tested my (2) white wires and found the low and high. No matter which one I plug this kit into I have to have my high beam on in order to make the light work..... Is this common?

2nd with this being only a low beam kit it is only utilizing a black and a white wire on my factory harness leaving a 3rd wire open/not in use.... this is causing a "lamp out" indicator on my dash to come on every time I start the truck... Is there a way around this issue?

I have the 35W 10000k kit FYI and my truck is a 2005 Dodge Ram

I have the 9007 (but H13 is one of the models listed on it, I think there were 13 different models it worked with)
