Hey,
Just wanting some tips for wiring up some LED Lights as Fog Lights/Running Lights. I bought these: https://www..au/itm/360645122859?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648
I own a '97 Subaru Legacy (Or Liberty if you're in Australia)
I'm sort of new to wiring and I want to have a switch inside the car, which will more than likely be this one: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Rocker-Switch-On-Off-LED-Amber.aspx?pid=325147#Cross
How would I wire this (in simple terms)?
Thanks

The switch should have 3 terminals - in +12V; out +12V (centre contact); & GND/earth/chassis for the indicator/LED - but it should have its terminal/connection information supplied.
Decide what you want as the "master power" for the DRLs - eg, IGN +12V, ACC +12V, tail lights, battery +12V - and select an appropriately fused circuit.
Connect that +12V source to the input of the switch.
Connect (presumably) the opposite terminal on the switch to GND/earth.
The (presumably) centre terminal goes to the +12V of the DRL, & the other DRL lead to GND/earth.
Ensure the cable rating exceeds whatever upstream fuse is present, else add your own fuse (eg, if taken from battery +12V).
The fuse is to protect the cable and switch etc.

Was that enough info - or do you need more clarification? (I'm worried it's a no-yes answer.)
BTW - was the "Liberty" reference because you expected me to answer, or because you too will soon have to vote?
