I recently had an Alpine IVA-W205 hu installed in my 05 GTO. Also have:

PXA-H701 audio processor

SIR-ALP10T satellite radio with traffic

PMS-B200 Blackbird Navigational unit

Currently the ipod is connected via cable to the back of the hu, but the hu will not allow for ipod videos. The pxa-h701 does not have any empty air-net connections. Can I add an air-net module of some sort and maybe connect the ipod using a KCA-420i ?

Or is there another way?

Gave up, ordered IVA-W505. Gonna pull out the 205 after only 3 months and sell it.

You can view your ipod videos by purchasing the video output cable at radio shack or an apple store (rca jacks on one end and ipod connection on other end). Connect the rca jacks to the aux input and video will show. You can also play music. The only problem is that you have to control ipod functions through ipod and not head unit.

did you make sure the setting on the ipod lets you watch movies externally. if not then try that and if you dont know if it is or not let me know what ipod it is and i can tell you how to do it.

What you need is the alpine adapter for Ipod video, the KCE-415i. It should work with the W205 but since you already ordered a W505 you wanna sell me your 205 cheap? posted_image
