I have two 4" 8 ohm Bose speakers that I placed in parallel, giving them a value of 4 ohms. They are in series with a 10" 4 ohm woofer, giving me a total value of 8 ohms. A piezo horn provides the highs.

The piezo is (supposedly) accoustically transparent, so I use no crossover for it. The 10" speaker handles the bass and the majority of the mid-range frequencies very well. The 4" Bose handles them well also, providing extreme clarity for the mids but, of course, it bottoms out on the bass frequencies when a lot of power is applied.

Is there a capacitor that will roll off at a low-mid frequency, allowing me a two-way system that takes advantage of the Bose as an upper mid-range driver? It would need to allow only upper and mid-range frequencies to pass.

Hi denwolfe, you can choose the value of the capcitor(s) needed to make a high pass filter based on desired frequency for a 4 ohm nominal load here to use on your Bose speakers :  https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/cross4ohm.asp
