hi, i just bought a soundbank amp and i havent hooked it up yet. im a young bloke with not much money for my car audio at the moment, hence i have a sh*tty old tape deck. my problem is my amp has a remote turn on connection but my head unit is old and doesnt have one of these wires, i wanted to know if my amp will turn on with nothing connected to this or if theres a way to bypass this or make a circuit to use with it which will turn it on

any help would be greately appreciated

thanks

First off, what make, model and year car do you have ? If you have a power antenna, you can use this wire as your remote turn on wire. If you don't have power antenna then use a switched ignition wire as your remote turn on. This way everytime the key is turned over to the accessory or run positions of the ignition switch you will have the amp turn of.
