I have just been given a Pioneer GM-2200 and I am having problems getting it to work. On the amp there is no remote on connetor like on most other amps, the only other option I can think of to turn the amp on is the 3-pin connector. Is this correct?

Does anyone have this amp and know how to turn the amp on without using the correct connector?

you should do a search on the net for the amp if not search pioneer electronics and they have downloadable product manualss for every thing they have ever built.

I managed to get the amp powered up. I did draw a diagram to show it was done but i can't add it in ere so i'll explain!!

Basically connect up the battery to the amp as u would normally, but to turn it on you need to use the first two of the three pins on that 3-pin connector (pins 1 & 2 nearest the speaker connectors) and take them to battery + terminal connection on the amp and it turns on.

Hope this comes in usefull
