I know that the tach wire for a remote start needs to hook to the black diagnostic plug wire but is there a place where that same wire can be found on the cab? If so where can i find it?

Black wire (thin) to rear of gauge cluster.

Cant use the wire at the instrument panel if thats what your saying.triee it and it causes tue tach gauge to fail.

I've only used it on 98 on so sorry, otherwise an uncommon injector wire.

What um yhibk is that the black wire from tje diagnostic plug has yo come from in the cab connected to one of the computers but its just a matter of where. Does anyone know where this is. The wiring schematics arent helping. They dont even show a black wire to the plug.
