EASYGUARD EC206-B
Anyone else make the mistake of losing their $100 on this junk?

Chinese vendors advertise glorious tech support before you purchase, then a bag full of crickets if you ever actually try to get any support.

BEFORE you buy from EasyGuard, I would suggest you visit their website. There you will get a feel for what's to come.
They provide no links to download their user guides if you should need it.
Their "Chat Now" button is fake and does not open a live chat, instead it directs you to a Chinese phone number or whatsapp.

In addition, Amazon is actively blocking reviews that try to let others know.

So it turns out one of the relays in the unit was defective and while there is continuity across one of the relays coil, the other shows open.
I do not believe I did anything to cause this as I'm pretty good with electronics and thought I was careful not to cause any shorts. Always possible I suppose.

In any event, it seems EasyGuard is going to give me the run around by giving me a continuous stream of "Try This" suggestions instead of addressing the relay test results.
(It is within warranty period since I've only had it about 45 days)

Therefore, I will have to repair the alarm myself. I will replace the defective relay at my expense and on my bench.
Shouldn't be a big deal. I may even have the relay in stock that I need.
