Vehicle: 1993-1998 Toyota Supra, I replaced my old 791xv alarm with the 5706V.

The Symptom: Vehicle fails to shut down when the key is turned to OFF; engine runaway occurs until Viper main harness is pulled.

Multimeter Test Results: Measured the brain giving 12 volts constantly on the Pink/White wire (H3/7) even when disarmed. Verified 0V on the input triggers.

I am troubleshooting why the Ignition 2 output wire is showing a constant 12V+ even when the system is disarmed and the ignition is off. This is preventing the vehicle from shutting down and is causing a parasitic draw; what could be causing this output to stay active independently of the system state? I cut the pink/white wire to see if I'm getting 12volts from the car wiring side of the pink/white while off it shows 0, and from the brain side it's a constant 12.

If the thick pink/white (+) is staying constant positive, then the thin pink/white (-) is likely also staying constant negative. I'd probably pull the fuse from the red/black since that powers the Viper's ignition 2. You could always de-pin those wires.

A workaround may be to use the negative ignition 1 output to trigger your own relay.
