Working on a Sebring and can't figure out how to get the doors to lock after start. I thought these used to have the lock after start feature but can't find it. S/N. I'm using the factory alarm disarm on the unlock wire and factory alarm arm on the lock wire. It unlocks before start and will relock after shutdown fine. I just can't get it to lock after start.

I don't think that feature was available on that model. Assuming that's the same as the Viper 5305V, it's not listed in the remote start menu.

It is listed on higher end models like the Viper 5706V: Remote Start Safelock (Menu 3, item 16, option 2).

An alternative would be to use something like an oil pressure sensor signal (or something similar) to pulse a relay. Use a relay to convert a constant to a pulse: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagrams.html

Or use an op-amp as a trigger once system voltage is over a certain amount. See where system voltage is at rest, and then again once running.

I definitely didn't see it listed. I will look into what you sent. I may see if they are willing to get a different model. Thanks for all the info. I will look into those options if they decide not to get something different.
