Does anyone have any experience with the color LCD PAger/Remote Alarms that are being offered on Ebay. Do they work well? Is the range acceptable? Do they notify the customer right away or is there a delay in the pager response. Thanks, Tom.

There is no delay in the response time ( and if there is it isn't significant ). Most claim ranges of 1/4 mile ( +/- 1000 ft ) but that is under ideal conditions. You can expect about 800 ft gauranteed from most of these companies but any more is dependant on battery power, antenna location, car location , weather, EMI and topological differences between you and the car.

We sell the Aladdin a-2000 two pager system and we have had good success with it. Most of the systems out on eBay are not FCC approved and means that they will interfere with other equipment that uses the same frequecies. Hope this helps you decide on a unit to buy.
