HI
I've just installed the ct3300 and all works well (including door locks, truck release, etc...
I seem to have a problem with the 'Idle Mode' unprogramming. It seems after I went through 'MODE 2' and disabled 'Function 2', Idle mode is still active.
(i.e. When I remote start the car and after inserting the key and driving off; When I turn the key off, the car is still running. (I assume the starter has taken over again).
Anyone know how to turn this feature off? (i.e. Turning the key should totally shut-down the unit {minus the lock/unlock functions}).
please help

The problem is with your brake circuit, not with programming. Your remote starter is not disengaging when you depress the brake. Recheck your wiring. The thin orange wire from the remote starter must be hooked to a wire which goes to 12 volts + when you push the barke pedal. If you haven't hooked this up correctly, then you couldn't have programmed the starter at all.
