Or something similiar. I want to make a custom gauge cluster (speedo, tach, etc) and want it to appear as if it could be stock.

parts express sells slabs of high grade ABS. I use their ABS to make switch panels and flat guage pod faces.

ABS sheets etc

how easy is that stuff to paint ? and is it pretty flexible ?

its easy to paint, You can either attempt to primer it and then paint it (be sure to use rubbing alchohol or a simular cleaner to get the dust off it then rub it dry) or just get some of that Fusion paint by Krylon, it seems to work really well for ABS, just be sure to let it dry for a day and then recoat it 2 to 3 times to ensure no cracking.
