Hi,

Where in the US can I purchase relays like the SPDT relay shown in the car security schematics?  Since it has specific terminal numbers I don't think it's generic.  Is there a model number or something that identifies it?

You can purchase these at Wal-Mart, any Radio Shack or your local stereo shop. These are about $ 2.00 - $ 5.00 depending on where you go to. Potter Brummfield or Bosch are the major brands and there are alot of generic brands too which are just as good but less expensive.
