Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to update the maps in a 2007 Chevy Avalanche factory navigation system. The factory has long since stopped supporting vehicles this old so I was wondering if there is a "back door" or a work-around way to get and install recent updates in an older system. Could the OnStar hardware provide a gateway? Can downloadable files be burned onto a disk? There is no card slot in my system.

Replacement with an aftermarket unit is likely your best bet.

Not interested in aftermarket so I'll keep on looking and see what I discover.
