Greetings! I just stumbled on your web page looking for wiring diagrams. I am about to install a Compustar SHF 2W-AS system in my 99 Expedition. I am an Electronics Technician in the military stationed in Iceland, so my installer pool out in town is basically non-existant, so I am forced to go it alone. I was wondering if you have any tips for a first time installer? I am trying to do as much research as possible before I "tear into it"! I ordered the service manual from Ford, but it contains no scats, I guess you have to purchase those seperately. Also I would like to keep the factory installed passive Anti-theft system (PATS) in tact if at all possible. right now I basically want the system installed for its remote start capabilities for the cold days that lay ahead. My novice mind is telling me right now that I could leave the key (transponder) in the ignition or close to the steering column so the PATS would think everything is ok and allow the remote start. Any advice at all is greatly appriciated! Also where can I order relays and diodes if I need them for the rest of the install?? thanks much in advance. r/Tom Ewer
