Replaced a deck in a 1999 honda accord and now the back light for the clock is not working (The clock works however). Is the light controlled by something in the radio harness????

did you replace it with another factory stereo or an aftermarket deck?

Don't stress out it's the bulb in the clock is burned out. It should be $1.50 from the dealer to fix.

Actually it's normally not a blown bulb. This is a common issue, I work for Best Buy and have read a tip thats calls for you to tie the orange wire (Not the orange\white) from the harness to ground. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't.

I had a customer come back with this complaint.  I replaced the bulb on the back of the clock and all was well.

If you look on the back of the clock there should be a little gray 1/4 turn light socket.  You turn it and the thing comes out.  I believe the leads of the bulb are wrapped around the holder, but its been a years since I've changed one of these.
