Okay, you guys helped me with my Wife's 02 Grand Cherokee Limited remote start install and now I need advice for my own RS install in my 95 Grand Cherokee Limited. I thought it was gonna be easier than the 02 because it doesnt have a transponder key but that may not be the case. I tried locking the doors and waiting for the factory system to set and then I tried to start the vehicle by the key and the alarm went off(unlike the 02). I guess maybe it does this on the older systems because they dont have the transponder key. I want to just tie in the bare minimum of wires on this install but still have a safe and secure setup. Im figuring I need to tie into the factory disarm wire but do I need to tie into the re-arm wire as well? How about the door locks. This is the same Scytek 100RS 1-button system as I used before. I will still be using my factory remotes to lock/unlock the vehicle. Any info is appreciated. Thanks again.

You need to send a disarm pulse to a purple / YELLOW wire in the driver kick panel

Do I need to connect to the re-arm wire as well?
