Hey all, been awhile since I have been around, I have a question.
I am trying to make a circuit to where a momentary ground will make a signal turn on, and stay on when the car is in ON or ACC, and shut off when the key is removed. I seen this with the relay explanations and what not, and wondering if this would work . . .

Here is what I was thinking would work.
relay #1
85 - negative (-) pulse
86 - fused constant 12v+
30 - fused constant 12v+
87 - to #30 of relay #2
relay #2
85 - constant ground
86 - constant 12v+
30 - from 87 of relay #1
87 - to # 85 of relay #3
relay #3
85 - from 87 of relay #2
86 - constant ground
30 - constant fused 12v+
87 - (newly interupted when not switched on output shut off with key)
That is the correct way of accomplishing what I asked correct?
Thanks all!

You could do it this way-
85 - negative (-) pulse
86 - IGN switched 12v+
30 - IGN switched 12v+
87 - to #85 of relay #2
relay #2
85 - from 87 of relay #1
86 - constant ground
30 - IGN switched 12v+
87 - to # 85 relay #2
Diode between 87 and 85 of relay #2, stripe towards 85
Your 12V output will be terminal 87 of relay #2,
which turns on when you give it the momentary
ground pulse with the ignition on, and turns
off when you shut the ignition off.

Actually, you don't even need the diode, just connect 85 and 87 directly, just as the diagram shows.
