Hi everyone, my question is in regard to a 2008 Honda Civic si Sedan. I know the car comes with a factory aux input which is a 3.5mm input. My question is if I purchase a soundgate or Pie aftermarket aux input, do I have to unplug the factory aux input from the back of the radio or does the factory aux not occupy the input at the back of the stock radio? The reason I ask is because if the car is equiped with factory xm radio for instance, that would need to be unplugged to get the aftermarket aux interface connected. So basically does the factory 3.5mm aux jack occupy the aux jack at the back of the stock radio? I am doing this because I want to gt an aux jack in the back while still having the factory aux available for what I may want to play. Thank you in advance and I hope someone can help me with this.

I would check with the SoundGate people or PIE (depending on the device you decide upon). They are going to be able to answer your question, probably FAR more effectively than we could...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
