Most amps will run for a short period of time above thier recomended specs. I.E Lower Impedances, higher voltages. If and how long depends on the manufacturer and protection curcuits.

The best way it to call the manufacturer and ask them, They will generally let you know what you can and cant do for competitions.

I noticed youi mentioned power ratings, What USACI show will you be running, just wondering.

Not starting off that big yet. It's a little nothing local comp. Figure I'll get my stuff dialed in first before entering in a big event like IASCA or USACI.
