I was wondering if any of you installers still use these in your installs?

If it is a security system I always install the LED. If it is just a RS that incorporates an LED I ask the vehicle owner if they want it.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

We always do them on alarm installs. We do not install them on rs unless requested to.

They tended to fail pretty quickly because moisture got into the contacts and corroded, your confusion is caused because they are electroluminescent (did I spell that right?) NOT LED
