impo a caddy's bose system sounds good

My business partner has an 07 STS with the Bose surround. Nothing to brag about. Same old Bose short cummings. The Mercedes Bose suffers the same bad fate. The Mark Levinson OEM sounds better, but still far from perfect.

I HAVE listened to them... They suck! Like every other Blose system I have ever heard... "No highs, no lows? Must be Bose" The car I heard it in was the CTS-V... $80K, and THIS is what I get for audio? No thank you! The company does NOTHING in the way of R&D, and are content to spend as much as 80% of their annual operating costs on advertising, telling you that it DOES sound good, when in actuality, it DOESN'T. I'd rather spend that money on Audiobahn than over-priced, underdeveloped, poorly implemented, brain-washing. It's too bad you have never heard a GOOD OEM system. The Audi with the B&O Tri-Path amplified system comes to mind. 10 discrete channels, 12 speakers, and 465 REAL WORLD, TRUE RMS watts, it has been called "The Best Sounding Car Stereo In The World". I'd rather listen to the OEM in my brother's IS300 (and it's brutal, compared to the listening position in MY car) than the "systems" offered by Bose for GM and Mercedes releases. Bose? Bose is a bunch of amateurs.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

we just yanked out a pos bose system out of my pops sts.  ive heard better factory. and to be honest bose is like in the above post legends in their own minds? we put in some decent jbl power series speakers. put in some 5 1/2sx4 and a pair of 6x9s and a pair of older alpine amps flex5s hehehehe little beasts. for what it is it sounds very good, and balanced. and most important he likes it. but to my own doing pops wants a sinlge 10 or 12 inch sub? what have i done?. bottom line bose sucks ass ask any car shop they will cringe when you ask them about it. i love the intergrated amps that blow up all the time.OWWWWWWWWWWW you said you discharged the cap!

In my personal opinion, you are Better Off with Something Else You Better Order Some Equipment Boy Our S***'s Expensive. You said Blose.
