Does anyone know if a double din dvd/navi unit will fit in a 2001 Dodge Caravan if the radio trim was cut.I know that it is a din and a half(1.5)opening but is there room for another half.
Thanks.

Of course it will fit, it just depends how much modifying you want to do. You will have to cut the dash, and you might have to do some relocation of factory stuff, (HVAC, defrost, etc) but its possible.

Din and a half is stock for dodge and most GM. Double din will need modifications to dash for it to fit.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

im pretty sure i posted up my 00 dodge ram double din install. I'll see if i can find it and post the link. It can be done, but does require quite a bit of modification.
