WOW i just wanna say i have posted in sooooooo long hahaha.
anyways...i'm actually gonna do a project in my 90' honda crx si.
what i have in there is a sub box that practically takes up the whole hatch..its bulky, weighs my rear end down lots, and its not doing any good. basically its a paper weight lol.
this WILL be my first FG project i hope i do good. also i dont plan on painting the enclosure, just using vinyl.
what the set up will be is two seperate enclosures on sides by the fenders and an amp rack that stretches across the middle.
my Q's, from the sticky post on what all you need to make a project, how much do you think this will all cost?
i would love an estimate before i go balls deep in this one. just so i know what i'm getting myself into. please and thank you all!

Depends on where you end up getting your stuff from for the fiberglassing. For us something like this would be approx. $ 300-400 worth of materials.

well true..
i actually went and did a little shopping around
how's this for a basic start??? lol
fiberglass mat: 12"x50" = $5.25
Fleece: 1m x 1m = $5.99
5/8 mdf board; 4'x8' = $24.87
1 gal resin = $55.00 (comes with hardener)
so i'm actually prolly looking around 300$ or so. hmmmmm well i hope this goes good :P hehe

I don't know if you've already bought your supplies or not but uscomposites.com is a great source, and you wont be spending $55 on resin.... check out the B440 resin they carry... Its great stuff!
