My buddy has a 2005 Chevy Z71 truck w/ the factory bose HU.
He wants to install a JL W1 10 sub along with a RF amp.
What wires do we need to tap into for the remote wire & the rear speaker wires as to install a line conveter.
RF amp has no high level inputs & also no fuse which I find strange. It puts out 450 X 1 RMS? The JL is good for 350 rms & 500 Max.
Any help would be great. Thx 12 volt.

Some appliance fusing is mounted internally.  Can you provide a link to the manual of the RF amp in question?

See this recent thread.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

You could use the vehicle accessory wire or the Bose amp turn on wire for your amp turn on.
Tap into the mid-bass speaker wring for your LOC.

if it has the bose system i would go behind the radio for the speaker wires and they should be line level wires so you should be able to take some old RCAs and just tap them into the speaker wires. you cant use the cheap ones with bare copper to do this they have to be the ones with two wires per plug but that will eliminate the need for a loc because the wires are allready low level untill the amp but i will post the rear wire colors in a second.
i kant spel
