i got a new stereo for my deville and i installed it with the GMRC-03 harness and it works but the thing is that it resets the settings when i leave the car off more than 30 min. can anyone help me whats wrong with  it or if anyone had the same issue

That problem is common amongst caddys from that era... the bcm shuts off constant power to nearly all accesories in the car after a while... gm's way of saving power in a car laden with electronics... best thing u can do is run a new constant power wire either to the cars ignition harness at the steering column... or to the battery itself.... remember to fuse in either instance... 15 amp fuse should suffice.... hope this helps....
