Does anyone know of a company that makes a Class BD amp? I'd never heard of one 'til recently, and I can't seem to find one. I suppose the real question is, do they even exist? Thanks much.

Never heard of BD. B is a very high distortion analog amplifier, where D is of course a class D, or switch-mode amplifier. How they'd ever get the two technologies to play, I can't see...
::::EDIT::::
Seems to be a " Rockford Fosbreak" technology...

Rockford has been pushing class bd forever, but whats really funny is that depending on who in rockford you talk to you will get a different answer to what it actually means and applies to. Some of them say its a type of class like a/b d or whatever and others say it stands for "beyond Digital" which is rediculous to me. Long story short, their own company cant seem to figure out what it actually means little lone a normal consumer.

Yea, there is no such thing as a "class BD" amplifier.  It is a trade name for Rockford's power supply technology, like "ICEpower" or "High Current."

Now Class BS, there are lots of amplifier companies who employ that kind of technology... unfortunately.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
