class bd amp

Does anyone know of a company that makes a Class BD amp? I'd never heard of one 'til recently, and I can't seem to find one. I suppose the real question is, do they even exist? Thanks much.

Never heard of BD. B is a very high distortion analog amplifier, where D is of course a class D, or switch-mode amplifier. Rockford has been pushing class bd forever, but whats really funny is that depending on who in rockford you talk to you will get a different answer to what it actually means and applies to. Some of them say its a type of class like a/b d or whatever and others say it stands for "beyond Digital" which is rediculous to me.
