I have two of the old Eclipse Titanium SW9122s and I'm in troubled water. One of my subs is starting to read higher resistance and is basically dieing more and more with each note.
I've tried finding a replacement coil (QCA) but noooooo. No dealers have them, Eclipse is completely clueless it's just a mess. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone have a good solid used one for a good price? I can get a new one for somewhere around $400.
Looking into the RD Alpha, but then I gotta build a new box and that's just a mess...
Thank you for your time.

Well... Since TCSounds built those woofers for them, and TCSounds is now nonexistent, I think you're on a dead-end path.
Eclipse has no replacement parts for those woofers, so when they die, they're dead. Time to start searching for more drivers, I think...
I know... I'd hate to lose those woofers as well. I only got rid of mine to go to a DIFFERENT TCSounds woofer. So now, if I pop what I have now, I'll have to start doing the same thing!
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Man that makes me mad. I'll probably buy like two brand new ones (if I can still find them) and replace the one and then have a replacement laying around.
Really makes me mad, they're such an awesome sub and last sooooo long...

Depending on the motor and basket you can possibly buy recones from a few manufactures like Fi, Re Audio, eD, Pierce Audio Products...I forget who else
